This microsite is for you to download the ‘Gifting edition’ of my Cryptic Christmas Crossword for 2024. I’ve written this puzzle to be relatively gentle, so it’s hopefully suitable for people newer to solving cryptic crosswords – although old hands should enjoy themselves too.

There are three downloads for you to choose.
- Just the puzzle – for friends and loved ones who already solve UK Cryptic puzzles.
- Puzzle with definitions underlined – this might suit someone who is getting started with solving, or a bit less experienced. Underlining the definitions makes it easier to see which part of the clue is definition and which is wordplay.
- Annotated solutions – SPOILER ALERT! this gives you the answers and helps to explain how the each clue works.
